Nice to meet you all, my name is Key. I live in Tokyo, Japan.
I love tea (green tea, black tea, barley tea) very much. I drink a lot of it every day.
If I want something to drink, I always drink tea, especially green tea.
I have had a variety of teas, from regular store-bought teas, to teas from convenience stores, and many others.
But since sometime ago, I started to feel something strange in my mouth when I drink tea.
In particular, when I drink bottled tea sold at convenience stores, I feel something subtle and sharp in my mouth. It is something fine and lumpy.
And after drinking that tea, I no longer felt the urge to drink it again.
It was then that a friend, who also loved tea, introduced me to Ogose Tea Garden in Shizuoka, Japan.
It was June of 2021.
The Ogose Tea Garden is located in the mountains of Shizuoka Prefecture, in the middle of nowhere.
The tea garden is full of greenery. It was a magical place, where the air was clean , calm and just by standing there alone, I felt invigorated.
And there I had a cup of tea.
The tea was light in color and had a faint aroma, but as soon as I put it in my mouth, a faint sweetness enveloped everything in my mouth. It was a strange and sensual texture that I had never had before.
It was like a silky, magical, textured tea.
That was my first encounter with the tea of Ogose Tea Garden, which has been growing tea without pesticides or fertilizers for more than ten years by Mr.Ogose alone.
Since then, I have become completely fond of the tea at Ogose Tea Garden and started participating in the tea harvest.
I started this website to let more people know about this tea that I love so much.
